September 22-2 Learning Outcomes Literacy  Create texts that express personal feelings and ideas based on prior experiences and knowledge. What Did  Students Do? This week, our class focused on a powerful writing activity inspired by Terry Fox. Each student wrote a personal letter to Terry, sharing how his incredible story of bravery and determination continues to inspire them today. In their letters, students reflected on how Terry’s Marathon of Hope reminds them to stay strong, keep going when things get tough, and believe that one person can make a difference. They wrote about how his journey motivates them to work hard toward their goals and to support important causes, just like Terry did. This activity allowed students to connect with Terry’s story on a personal level while practicing thoughtful and expressive writing.
